Crypto Quantique named as the only security ‘Startup Worth Watching in 2021’ in the EETimes Silicon 100 report

LONDON, July 8^th, 2021 — Crypto Quantique, a specialist in quantum-driven cybersecurity for the internet of things (IoT), has been named as a ‘Startup Worth Watching’ in the semiconductor industry’s most prestigious annual survey of recent entrants into market, the EETimes Silicon 100. Crypto Quantique is the only security company referenced in the report.

The 21^st revision of the EETimes Silicon 100 e-book, compiled and curated by veteran industry journalist, Peter Clarke, is more detailed than ever this year. In its leader article, recently retired global editor-in-chief, Junko Yoshida noted that “The VC community, infatuated in recent years with software and “app” businesses at the expense of hardware-focused startups, has rediscovered semiconductors.”
