We are expanding our world-class security hardware team, seeking an Analog IC Design Engineer to work on cutting-edge secure IoT devices.

Crypto Quantique is building the most secure end-to-end IoT platform. We are a transformative cybersecurity technology company, using the most advanced techniques in cryptography and quantum physics, designed to ensure that both device security becomes foundational and end-to-end IoT security standard practice. We operate from silicon to cloud, being uniquely positioned to bridge the IoT scaling gap.

We are a well-funded start-up with a high-level team of scientists, engineers, and industry experts. We are engaging with some of the world’s biggest microcontroller manufacturers and our pipeline is growing fast. As such we are looking at our long-term objectives and would like to bring in an Analogue Chip Design Engineer to take a key role in our hardware IP.

This is an unique opportunity to work on quantum applications and join us at a very exciting stage. You will be part of the core hardware IP team, working to expand the whole semiconductor industry knowledge of security and quantum physics, while bringing industry-defining products to life.

You will participate in:

  • Design, definition, and implementation of analog blocks with schematic capture and simulation tools.
  • Layout of analog circuits, either through direct activities or support to layout engineers.
  • Behavioural modelling using Verilogams/SystemVerilog, with supporting mixed-signal engineers.
  • Peer design reviews and documentation.
  • Support silicon validation and debugging.
  • Scripting and programming languages for EDA automation and IC Testing .
  • Design work planning & scheduling.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of CMOS transistor level Analog IC Design and layout .
  • 2-7 years experience in analog and mixed signal circuit design. Low-voltage/power, low-noise design techniques are highly desirable.
  • Required skills in design of amplifiers, comparators, DACs, bandgap references, buffers, LDO regulators etc. Experience of designs embedded in filters, data converters, transceivers or power management units for low-power applications is desirable.
  • Required experience of design in a bulk CMOS sub-micron processes such as the 65nm and lower technology nodes. Experience in SOI and non-planar processes would be a plus.
  • Understanding of layout approaches and techniques for matching constraints and minimising parasitics.
  • Advanced user of EDA tools for design and verification – Required experience in Cadence Virtuoso, be adaptable to simulation environments from EDA tool vendors and familiarity with popular simulators (such as Spectre/AFS).
  • Desirable experience in layout verification tools (Calibre/PVS DRC/LVS) and parasitic extraction verifications.
  • Adaptable to support or develop behavioural models(VerilogA/verilogAMS).
  • Masters or Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering or related areas is a plus.
